Fashioning an ever-adapting mascot for Brazil's favorite children's clothing brand.
INTRO
Founded in 1964, Marisol is one of the major companies in the Brazilian clothing industry. It has specialized in selling high-quality apparel and accessories for children. Its sub-brands Lilica & Tigor have mascots that are hugely popular with the younger audiences. Our team was asked to help this forty year old company rebrand itself and incorporate a mascot as a part of their new brand identity.
We felt that it would be apt for the mascot to be an animal that is native to Brazil, and something that appealed to girls and boys alike. Thus was created Camarisol! A colorful and eye-catching chameleon that can play hide-and-seek with the kids. This mascot could change it’s colors and textures according to the situation, becoming synonymous with the vibrance and fabrics of the Marisol brand.
